What the plugin does

DK Book Details Popup adds a customizable button that opens WooCommerce book information in a responsive popup. When available, the popup displays the product or variation title, visible attributes, SKU, dimensions, weight, and description. Variation metadata supplied by DK Base Plugin is also included.

Requirements

WooCommerce and DK Base Plugin must both be installed and activated.

Add a details button

Add the shortcode wherever the button should appear, replacing 123 with the WooCommerce product ID:

[dk_book_details_popup id="123"]

To show a specific variation, provide both the parent product ID and variation ID:

[dk_book_details_popup id="123" variation_id="456"]

Using the popup

Customers can close the popup with its close button, by selecting the shaded backdrop outside the popup, or by pressing Escape. Long descriptions scroll within the popup on smaller screens.

Customize the button

Go to DK Plugins > Book Details Popup. The settings page lets you choose the button's background, text, and border colors for its normal and hover states, with a live button preview.
