DK WC Order Paid Date is retired. Its paid-date editor and status reset rules are now available in DK WC Helpers. Migration is manual.
Before you migrate
Keep DK Base Plugin and WooCommerce active. Existing order paid dates and reset flags are retained; no order data needs to be copied or converted.
Migration steps
- Install and activate DK WC Helpers 1.1.0 or later.
- Open DK Plugins > WC Helpers. In the Order Paid Date fieldset, enable Order Paid Date.
- Choose the Order Paid Date Timezone. Select America/Denver to keep the standalone plugin's timezone, or leave WordPress timezone selected to follow Settings > General. This choice affects future manual date saves; it does not rewrite existing timestamps.
- Save the Helpers settings, then deactivate DK WC Order Paid Date. Helpers takes over on the next request. While the standalone plugin remains active, Helpers leaves paid-date handling to it.
- Open an order and confirm the Paid Date field is available. Review the displayed saved date before making changes.
What stays the same
Returning a Processing or Completed order to Pending payment clears its paid and completed dates. Returning that marked order from Pending payment to Processing or Completed sets its paid date to the current time. On hold and other transitions remain unaffected.
Clearing the manual Paid Date field does not clear WooCommerce's underlying paid timestamp. Disabling the Helpers feature retains existing order data.
